Welcome to the Friendly Islander Hotel (Tonga)

The Friendly Islander was built as a destination for culturally-minded travellers from around the world who seek an insight into the "REAL TONGA" in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

Situated on the waterfront with breathtaking views of the blue sea and its surrounding islands, the Friendly Islander is set in tropical gardens with local flora and fauna. We have very easy access to town (approx 20min walk) along the waterfront, we are 10mins walk from 'restaurant row', the Saturday morning fleamarket ('swap meet'), the fish markets and the main interisland wharf.

Cheap Flights to Tonga

If you are trying to find the cheapest flights to Tonga, I would recommend several websites for you. Try Air New Zealand's grab-a-seat website, Pacific Blue, or Air New Zealand's normal site .

If you are flying from the USA or Europe, I would recommend you try the above websites first and compare to what you find at your local travel agent or online through Expedia or Orbitz.

Don't forget to purchase your travel insurance from either your travel agent or find a travel insurance plan online. Make sure you the travel insurance plan includes the "South Pacific" as some plans may not include this region as a part of their world-wide plans.

Safe travels.
